My Story…

In September, 2023 I was diagnosed with Hemiplegic Migraine which paralyzed half of my body and decreased my cognitive functioning. I would suffer from many of the Hemiplegic episodes a day but for the most part, I went untreated because I was under the care of a physician who wasn’t knowledgeable about my condition. In February, 2024 I finally got to go to the Jefferson Headache hospital and was re-diagnosed with MUMS (Migraine with unilateral motor symptom) and I am receiving much better, more focused treatment and I am getting better and better every day!
