My Story…
My migraine journey started when I was 14 and I am now 38 years old. They started off episodic and got worse as the years went on. I went from being a honors and AP student to barely graduating high school because I missed so much school. But one of my pain management doctors put in a nerve stimulator that helped me get back to living and back to episodic migraine. I was able to go to college and even got into graduate school. But after I had my son in 2009, my episodic migraine became chronic after the nerve simulator stopped working. My doctors have tried everything under the sun since I was 14 back in 2000 until today in 2024 for different treatments for my chronic migraine attacks. I am currently trying to live day by day, one step at a time one attack at a time to get through life. If you could please donate to Miles for Migraine they do research on migraine, which is underfunded, and they train headache specialists which we do not have enough of. Thanks 💜
