My Story…
I've had headaches for as long as I can remember. It only within the last 5 years that it's consumed my life with extreme migraine pain. The neurologist I originally saw, sent me on a path of chronic brought on by spinal fluid leaks. It wasn't until I found competent doctors at Jefferson Headache Center that were able to determine that I had multiple leaks along my spinal cord that cause pressure imbalances within my skull. Once I had the patches done correctly, and the pressure even out, I was still left with debilitating migraine attacks that would leave me in near constant pain. I've tried so many different medications and have done several inpatient treatments with ketamine and DHE. And while that seems to help, I can't live in a hospital. So until there is a better understanding of how migraines work and affect everyone, I won't give up and I'll be here waiting in the wings for a lasting relief and better quality of life. 💜🧠
