My Story…
My migraines started in 2020 due to online school and worsened in 2021 with mask-wearing and anxiety. Since I was under 18, there were only two preventive medicines and a few rescue medicines offered. I was hospitalized in May 2022 for a severe migraine attack and was there for a couple days. My migraines improved initially but returned in October 2022. I then tried nerve block injections in December 2022, which ultimately didn't help. It was very frustrating when one of my doctors said I couldn't try anything else because of my age. Once I turned 18 in 2023, I went straight to my doctor to try something new. In February of this year, I went to Jefferson Headache Center to get some more information and help on treating my migraines. Currently, I am trying several different treatments to see what helps and prevents my migraines. I want to raise funds for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to help more children that are going through what I went through with the hope that new treatment
