My Story…
I have had migraine since I was 13. I became chronic in grad school when I was in my mid-twenties. At the beginning of my journey, I was hopelessly lost. I was trying to balance grad school, doctors appointments, medication management, and more, all while dealing with chronic migraine. In 2021 I was finally able to start Botox. It changed my life for the better. I have also had the oppurtunity to participate in Miles for Migraine's support groups, volunteer for the Social Events program, and complete the ACT Now advocacy program. The work that Miles for Migraine does has positively benefited my life greatly. I wouldn't be as functional as I am without Miles for Migraine's programs and research funding.
