Our story…
Chronic Migraine Warriors
Chronic Migraine Warriors was founded to improve the lives of people impacted by migraine and other headache disorders through advocacy, education, research fundraising, and open conversations that reduce stigma and isolation.
What began in 2021 as Team Migraine Crushers, started by Doug Kane after finding support and resources through Miles for Migraine, has grown into a global community. In 2022, the Chronic Migraine Warriors support group was created to specifically serve those living with chronic migraine, recognizing that chronic migraine requires more aggressive care, deeper understanding, and consistent support.
Today, Chronic Migraine Warriors is a community of over 8,000 members across 16 countries, united by shared experiences and the belief that no one should face migraine alone. We proudly participate in the Philadelphia Miles for Migraine Walk each year and and have made a meaningful impact in support of migraine research and advocacy.
In 2026, we are excited to celebrate our fifth year walking with the Miles for Migraine community in Philadelphia.
We walk to raise awareness, fund critical research, and amplify the voices of those living with migraine, because migraine is invisible, but our voices are not.
