Our story…

Welcome to the Migraine Crushers team page

Team Migraine Crushers started in 2021 by Doug Kane. Doug is a patient at Jefferson Headache Center in Philadelphia PA. He suffers from intractable migraine without aura and with status migrainosus & New daily persistent headache. In the beginning of 2022, Doug met Natalie Bowers who is also a patient at Jefferson Headache Center learning that her symptoms were similar to Doug's. From there they made a facebook group called Chronic Migraine Warriors to try and find other people who have chronic migraine. The group has over 2,800 members now..

Migraine Crushers is trying to improve the lives of people impacted by migraine and other headache disorders by raising awareness, starting conversations when people say that “it’s just a headache” and raising funds for Jefferson Headache Center.

For the Philadelphia 2023 walk, our team has grown so much in one year, either in person or virtually and we are so excited to have expanded so much in one year.
